Danielle Enblom is a dancer, fiddler, and researcher based in Minneapolis, MN/occupied Dakota Territory. She grew up steeped in Irish music and dance, and also practices the fiddle and stap dance traditions of her Red River Métis and Quebecois family. Danielle specializes in sean-nós/old-style dance in Ireland, European/Irish/North American dance master traditions, and cross-cultural connections between various dance and music forms. Danielle holds an MA in dance history from Munster Technological University and a Diploma in Traditional Irish Music from Univerity College Cork. She has direct ties to some of the last itinerant dancing masters in Ireland and has lived and studied in Kerry, Belfast, and Cork.
