The New Trad Band at the Dubliner Pub

January 21 @ 9:00 pm - January 22 @ 1:00 am

Free

The New Trad Band is made up of the region’s top musicians from the Irish, American old-time, and jazz worlds. Danielle’s roots in dance from Ireland, Quebec, and the Métis Nation are combined with melodies from old-time/bluegrass/Irish fiddler AJ Srubas and jazz accordionist Patrick Harrison, and guitar and vocals from Rina Rossi and Brian Miller. Harrison’s old-time jazz is a favorite from New Orleans to NYC, Rossi and Srubas play in the new old-time gem, Steam Machine, and Miller is one of most sought after accompanists in the North American Irish music scene. Combined with Enblom’s deeply embodied, pathbreaking work at the intersection of traditions, this all-star lineup makes for a fascinating and toe-tapping set with tunes, songs, and steps from Ireland, the midwest, and North America.
