2022 Fund-a-need: Growing Up, Reaching Out
Éigse CIM, a Virtual Gaela Event is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and we need your help more than ever as we make plans to expand our space to accommodate our growing programs and vision for the future!
Over the past 18 years, your support has helped the Center for Irish Music become a thriving community organization dedicated to handing down the tradition of Irish music. Our mission unites an evolving collective of passionate teachers, while our ethos makes space for diverse pedagogical approaches and musical styles. Year after year, we continue to see consistent growth in our programs, attracting artists, performers, students and volunteers to our classrooms.
With alumni who have released albums, done Irish language immersion programs, and completed graduate-level courses in Ireland, we know our programs are effective. We also know these bright young musicians (and our adult students who are learning new instruments, organizing local sessions and joining boards) will have lasting positive impacts on our community.
Your gift today will help us launch into a new phase focused on high-quality Irish music education for all, cultural partnerships, succession planning (supporting young teaching artists), and creating more leadership opportunities for our students and instructors.
All donations up to $25,000 made through February 26th will be matched thanks to our generous Challenge Fund donors. Visit centerforirishmusic.org/gaela to learn more and make your donation today!
